3D visualization of animal lives
Still from a video created by Nathaniel Strohschein, based on a terrestrial LiDAR scan of a pocket woodland in the Fort Garry neighborhood.
Working as a summer research student with Kamni Gill, Nathaniel Strohschein used a terrestrial laser scanner to capture a detailed point cloud representation of the Manchester Park woodland in Winnipeg’s Wildwood neighborhood. Based on this point cloud, Nathaniel created a short video that uses animation with animal 3D models to image a day in the life of the woodland.
